Appropriate for today’s ‘summer’ weather in New York – a view down Park Avenue in New York City, through the rain…
Taken looking north up Park Avenue from the area of Grand Central, with a tilt-shift ts-e 45mm lens to create a slim area of focus.
Lights from the traffic on Park Ave. (formerly ’4th Avenue’) reflect on the wet road. It’s said to have originally been called Park Avenue because the railroad sunk tracks into an open cut down part of the avenue which were then covered with grates and grass – the ‘Park’.
